I have a cross tab report created and I need to calculate some percentages. When I'm in the formula editor, I do not see the summarized fields available, which is something I need in order to calculate the percentages I want to add.
Does anyone know of a way to get to this data?
Thanks in...
It is not running on an SQL server. I rearranged the files and re-linked everything and viola' it is now working the way I need it to. Thank you for the tip however - I'm sure it will be useful in another application.
Thank you,
Margo
I have a Crystal Report set up in the following manner:
Orders File linked to a detail file, a customer master file, and a customer ship-to file. I am pulling data from all of these files in some cases, but there is not always a customer ship-to record on file for every customer, in which...
I've created a report that pulls in a numeric field and have created a subreport to pull in another. I have shared the variable from the subreport (which is linked to the main report). The value of the shared variable is showing up one record after it should.
Example:
curr_yr_mtd pyr_mtd...
I am putting together a report that will pull data from MAS90 files. I need two years worth of GL account informations on the same report. The files I need to use are:
GL History&Budget
GL Account Master
GL Parameters
The files are linked from history&budget to account master by account...
I have a report - MTD Top 20 Customers based on sales figures. I have three groups set up to get a total for some combined like accouts. IE: I have several accounts that are similar who's sales need to be combined for this report. That all works great, but I then apply the TopN sort to get the...
Thank your for your suggestions Ido. I'll give the second one a try first as my db and CR are on a hosted apps site w/o Access access....
Thanks for your help,
Margo
I have a report wherein I need to sort on something other than a group summary field, group field, or database field.
My report retrieves MTD and YTD sales for customers. I have a group that is based on customer_display_name, which is a field in the same db file with the MTD and YTD figures. I...
Ken:
You are the man! I moved the subreport formulas to the report header and the data is now being pulled into the main report.
You are my hero!
Thank you so much (and Ido as well) for all of your help!
Margo
Ken:
The first two formulas aren't on the report. The second two are on the subreport in the detail section. The last two forumlas are on the main report in RHb. The subreport itself is in RHa.
I understand about resetting the values, which I will eventually need to do.
Thanks for you...
Ken: I've since changed the format of the report and now require the formulas to be printed in RHb.
Ido: I will eventually need to share other variables to use for calculations, and will also be using these fields to get data from an array. However, for now, I am just trying to get them to...
I still cannot get the shared data to populate the fields in the main report. I have positioned the subreport in RHa and the formulas to display the shared variables are in RHb.
Anyone? Any ideas of what I could be missing?
TA!
Margo
Okay, I've successfully shared variables; however, I can only seem to get the fields populated when I put the formulas to display the shared variables in a footer on the report. I need the fields from the subreport displayed in a group header as well as use them to caluclate a percentage that...
I have a situation where I need to show data from the main report and then bring in formula fields from a subreport that is completely unrelated to the main report.
In detail:
Main Report includes customer, YTD sales, YTD cogs (all coming from a single database file)
Sub Report includes...
