    I see no CDs here but there is a floppy or AIX 4.14 ISA/PCI Updates. How could I tell if the machine has AIX on it or if it's been removed and if I need to get a new one?

    Key in front, yes, but see no microchannel reference. It has a terminal a few characters on top FDX NUM 1- 1 and curser, but no input is possible. CD rom yes, adaptor and plugged in. Key to service and turned on gives a code in the display of 570. I can get to a terminal set up, set to 9600...

    I was given an IBM 6000 powerserver 590. Is it worth keeping? I need a simple file server and would like to use this. I can get the thing plugged and turned on but can't seeem to get past that. I have a linksys router for connection. Does any one know about these older servers?
