    excel.exe error with shared workbooks

    export query adding date to file name

    I'm trying to export a query to excel daily, and exporting is not the probelm, but I need the file name to have time stamped with the yyyy/mm/dd so as to avoid over writing the file everyday. Does some have any ideas Thanks a lot

    bring in: importing the txt files by fixed width. The txt files are updates to see status in processing new busines on a weekly and possible on daily status. The txt files are extracts from a main frame of a TPA (Third Party Administrator) who in turns FTP the txt files to me.
