    Connect as internal and do the following show parameter arch The archive_log_dest is the directory where the archived logs are. This device is full, once you move files to another file system with enough space, the ARC process will restart and the db will work just fine. Good luck!

    THoey, Do you have the ORACLE_HOME environment variable set? How about the TNS_ADMIN? If it says that it can't find the path, I think it's related to those environment variables. ;-)
