I have created 6 VLAN's on this switch and assigned each VLAN interface an IP address.
ID NAME Status Ports
1 default active fa0/2, fa0/3,fa0/4
2 Subnet_2 active fa0/5, fa0/6
3 Subnet_3 active fa0/7, fa0/8
4 Subnet_4 active fa0/9, fa0/10
5 Subent_5 active...
I'm trying to configure VLAN's on a 2950 switch, but the command vlan-membership does not work when I add a port to a VLAN. Is the command only applicable to a 1900 switch? What are the other commands to add ports to a VLAN? Please help.
