    ODBC is the default user for MySQL running on windows. In order to use a client program you should specify a user (and a password, if the user has one). for example: mysqlshow --user=root use mysqlshow --help for more information

    BTW - performance on small intel boxes are much better than any other DB I have used - SQLSrv, SyBase, Oracle etc.

    I have created a MSTR project with MySQL WH (5.0.6 with MyISAM tables) with no problems at all. ODBC Driver is 3.51.06 (I used a previous version and it worked anyway) - make sure that "Don't' optimize column width" and "Return Matching Rows" options are checked

    Hi, In the old days, DSS Agent 6.X allowed us to view all the SQL it generated (not only for reporting, for data browsing and metadata access as well) just adding the sqllog=filename parameter in the [tools] section of the DSS file. Do you know if there is something similar for MSTR Desktop...
