Hi All of a sudden I can't get remote log ins to work. Works fine from the console. We are running in the evaluation period at the moment. This shouldn't be an issue since it has been fine up until now. Checked the event log for license messages and there are none. Thanks in anticipation.

Eventually traced this one to an entry within the NDS for these users. It transpired that a colleague who was working on desktops for users, had chosen to specify all programs that could be run. The answer was to simply add the exe to the list. Sorted!! Thanks for your time........

We are using TCP/IP on our dos clients. We did have problems with drivers even when they were the supplied ones. I'll dig out the project notes and let you have the information which relates to the drivers and the cards.

I struggled with Dos client issues for months. The final solution came down to network cards and drivers. It is the most important factor. Check that the correct driver is being used for whichever card, and don't make any assumptions about NE2000 compatability. Mostly the NE2000 option wasn't an...

It does work for local users, unfortunately we are stuck with using novell dynamic local user. That user does not gain the ability to use help.

Who has the secret of getting 'help' to work within Office2000? Works fine for the Administrator.....of course.
