    remote device

    I'm looking for a device ( a remote power switch) that I can control by dialing into it from a remote location. I need to restart certain devices when they freeze up and a device like this could save me alot of time and travel to the office. does this device exist? any help is appreciated

    I'm doing a home automation job on my house and need some help on an IR repeater. Am I able to connect 1 ir repeater to control lets say audio,dtv,dvd. or do I need 1 for each component. and can anyone steer me in the right direction in purchasing such a device. thanks in advance

    multiple phone lines

    anyway to route 3 c.o lines to 3 rooms, with 3 jacks appearing in each of the rooms. Each jack will have all 3 numbers appearing in it. I would guess a non- split 66 block at the feed as well as a 66 block at each room...but I'm sure there is a better way . any help would be greatly...

    having never dealt with cat 6 cable before I decided to purchase a spool to install at a friends job for a network install job. I noticed that each pair is separated within the jacket , my question is, does this pose a problem when placing it into a rj-45 plug, or 110 patch panel?
