    Michigan, I tried all the above, cleaned Groupwise, ran Anti-virus,re-installed Office97, and re-installed Groupwise and it still did not fix the problem. The problem was a bad Network card. Thanks for the suggestions,they helped find the problem.

    I am able to open my E-mail and read text messages, but I cannot open the attachments that come with the original message. When I double click on an attachment Groupwise stops responding,(twirling hour glass)and I have to ctrl-alt-delete to get out of it. I have tried all of the viewing options...
