Accessing the serial ports in Windows 2000
SOS! Are any of you having problems accessing the serial ports in Windows 2000? I'm writing a simple VB app to shoot a file through the serial port to a handheld dat collection device using VB's MSCOMM32 control. This app works perfect in Windows 9x. Unrecoverable Error 415 - Cannot Open Overlay File
I'm testing some legacy Clipper apps on Windows 2000. One app in particular is a very large (1.2mb EXE) program using 5 3rd party libraries (Telepathy, SIXNSX, CLWindows, CLTools and CLGraph). As soon as the app is ran, I get the error: Unrecoverable Error 415 - Cannot Open Overlay File ''...- TBoneous
