Still does not work. I have tried various ways eg BeforeUpdate & After but continue to insert a date on new record.

I have created a dateModified field to a table & onto the form. I created a macro ..action: Setvalue ; Item: datemodified expression : Now() & used the BeforeUpdate event. However the date only appears when a new record is added & not when a field is edited. Pls help!
