backup script
i want to do backup to my linux server.....can anybody give me a script or good website about it......in this case i want to backup my samba server with tar or dump command using tape.....please............- snr4999

samba
please help me......i have problem with..samba...here my problem: 1)i have to dir keep smbd and nmmb....it were /usr/sbin and /usr/local/samba/bin 2)when i start samba....it's ok...but when i check the process...smbd is not there...then i restart samba ....smbd shutting down failed but nmbd is...- snr4999

Linux and samba
i'm new in samba....i have problem .....can't determine netmask for 10.100.4.124 ( ip for windows 98).....in my smb.conf i write my ..interface = 10.100.4.148/255.255.255.0 127.0.0.1 10.100.4.124/255.255.255.0.... after that i check in log.nadia file i got this messege ....username smbuser is...- snr4999
