    'Please insert disk into Drive' (when there is one!)

    I am having problems with my CDROM on a W2K machine. When you put a CD in and select the CD drive in Explorer you get the 'please insert a disk into the drive'. After a reboot it manages to see it and works fine......until the next time you try it that is. Any ideas as to why it is so...
