Thank you for the reply. I have been able to open the cube (with the calculated dimension member) using Excel pivot table service.
I will try a sample Crystal cube. Also, I am still using v8.0, so maybe that is the problem as well.

I have a simple cube with a "scenario" dimension, e.g. "Budget" and "Actual". I want to create a calculated member for the scenario dimension, Budget - Actual.
Here is my question -- if I create this calculated member in Crystal Analysis, everything works fine. But...
