LloydSev, ChrisAC: So what you're saying is that the PIX route outside is to the internal gateway address (192.168.1.3)? And that the "assigned range" is really just 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.254? Is that all that I've missed?

I recently saw a review of using DVD drives instead of tape drives. Aside from the limited storage size of a DVD, they were twice as slow as the tape drive. I might suggest a 12/24gig DLT drive.. That's what I've been using, and it works very well for my configuration (about 20 gigs of info).
