    Trim a Field?

    Hi Guys, i'm an access newbie. I imported a table into access and one of the fields has some leading spaces. how do i trim them? i've tried doing it with a query and setting the putting Fieldname: trim([field_name]) into the field box of the query, but it keeps giving me compile errors...

    Hi, Here's something that i've been working on for a while, and that i might know how to do in ASP, but in Access it's stumping me. I'm trying to link up a part number prefix and part code database. they are heirarchical, so there are many Part Num Prefixes for each code, etc example...
