Hi, I believe you are asked to authenticate yourself on windows 2000 before you are allowed to use the resources provided by win2k. If you have user accounts on your win2k PC, you should be able to use one of these to map resources with. eg. PC_1 (win2k PC) user account: testuser, password...- vekraft

compatible cases for ibm ultrabay 2000 drives?
Hi all, I have an IBM ultrabay 2000 DVD ROM drive which I'd like to use on my PC. Would anyone know of any equipment manufacturers, apart from IBM, who make cases for ultrabay 2000 drives (with USB or firewire connector to connect to PC with)?
