This is the problem: About 90% of every text on the web has recently been showing enlarged (to about fonttype 14 + bold). Why? I don't know...
OK, this is UGLY!
Might I have done something wrong? Can I reverse it?
OK, i dl'ed the ATI-newest drivers for my ATI Rage Fury graphix card. The error message is gone, but the program I'm running (=actually a game) still gets shut down after a couple of minutes...
I seem to have found out something else: normally the version of ddraw.dll and directx should be the same, but it's not.
ddraw says I have directx7.0a, dxdiag says i have dx7.0 (you can find that out by looking at the version of ddraw.dll i.e. 4.07.007.716=7.0a)
don't know if...
I run DirectX 7.0a
the dxdiag tool works fine: no errors
I run IE 5.0, it would be no problem to upgrade to 5.01 (if you can call that an upgrade that is...)
I could get the newest drivers from ATI, but ATI says it's not bugfree yet, so I think I'll wait a bit with that...

Oh...
I get this error at random times... It says it resulted in a fault in a page of ATI3draa.dll (on 0177:b00ce74d), which is one of my ATI Rage Fury (32MB) drivers.
How do I stop this? and what does it mean?
Might it have sth to do with DirectX?
