    djjd47130, I think you misread my post. I am trying to handle a Windows USB overpower alarm (not UPS). The usb device is pulling too much power and I guess the alarm will be generated by the Windows hub driver.

    Have you tried putting libmysql.dll in your windows\system folder? You will find it in the \bin folder of your mysql installation. cheers jn99

    I have a simple application (D6/MySql/Zeoslib/30k records) where up to 5 users read/update a set of tables on a master pc. Can anyone suggest the best programming strategy for ensuring that the users see each other's updates as soon as possible? Thanks muchly.
