    EDIINT - AS2

Buzzbe – Sterling Commerce offers a package that will sit right on top of Gentran call GIS (Gentran Integrator Suit). I will be the happy recipient of this GIS next week. I know that the cost is significantly less than $60,000 and is scalable to your particular needs. You may not need all of...

    EDIINT - AS2

Hi Unixgy, We are running our translator on HP-UX box. We have looked into the iSoft solution for Wal-Mart only, but find that iSoft is going to have to make some changes to fit our need. I support multiple vendors under one umbrella. The iSoft solution will not handle it unless they give me...

    EDIINT - AS2

edianalyst, It is my understanding that for most vendors, Wal-Mart testing will not begin until next year. They are currently in phase 1 testing of a 2 phase testing process. They are getting ready to begin phase 2 testing and we have asked to be part of the phase 2 testing. iSoft Corp is...

    PGP for ftp'ing EDI Data

Zedsded – The 855 is not generated like a 997 or a 999. There is no pull down option on the trading partner definition to automatically generate an 855. Think of an 855 just like an 880 or 810 invoice transaction. You need an application to standard map defined within your trading partner...

    PGP for ftp'ing EDI Data

zedsded - are you getting any specific messages with translating? have you looked through the trans.ord and your xlcntl.err file? What are they telling you? not to ask a stupid question...but it has happened to me...is your trading partner profile pointing to the correct map? if you like...

    PGP for ftp'ing EDI Data

Hello zedsded, I am currently in the process of setting up an 855. An 855 does not work like a 997 in which the system automatically generates it based on an inbound transaction. You will have to set up a map and do an application to standard translation. Hope this helps... Soup
