Some of my 9508s will go dark, some will not. I need them all to go dark, the Auto return is set to 60 seconds. Doesn't seem to make a difference. R11 system, essential.

Customer doesn't want to use speaker to make calls but wants paging. The Norstar would do this.

If I disable the speaker for a 9508 on the extension, will that prevent the phone from receiving Paging? R11 essential edition.

You can shut it off and swap the cards yes and no programming needed. there is always a chance of losing programming but I would say you have little choice.

On the old IP 400 the trunk is Loop start with no prefix. Connected quickly. On the new IP 500V2 A, trunk is also loop start. I added prefix but found it worked a little faster (seemingly) using a Dial short code and dialing *. Still takes about 2 seconds for the phone to show 'Connected' so...

You know I put in the user group short code 91N Line Group 1 and I think I was sending an extra 1 to the telco causing an error message. Was that my problem? I think so. I do not have two different ARS tables. I will have to try again Monday.

Customer has R11, analog trunks, in standard mode, we dial 9 for an outside line. I need a select group of extension when they dial nine to go out line pool 1, rather than line pool 0. Can/should that be done from user groups/short code? What would you recommend?

Possibly referring to the email only support which they reversed. It wasn't that bad in my opinion. I didn't need them too much after awhile.
