XP Client with NT Server profile problem

Hi Zoeythecat, thanks for the input. I've tried this and still doesn't work. I'm beginning to lose hope :-( ,but I am determined to get this thing sorted. I think it must have something to do with domain rights overiding the local rights somewhere, because it works fine for local users, the...

Desktop settings revert back to Windows Classic

Thanks Linney, I've tried both those methods but still doesn't work. It's a real mystery this. I'm going to build another machine and run it on our development site, and see if it still happens. Very frustrating. Thanks again, Dave

Desktop settings revert back to Windows Classic

Thanks for the reply Matt, Yeah, I'd checked that setting and it hadn't been configured, which should allow the user to choose which style they wanted. I have now disabled the setting but it still reverts back to the Classic style. Very strange. Thanks again.

    is it delphi doing this

Thanks for the ideas, very much appreciated. We're not running Terminal Services and each user has their own logon. When the user who has the problem logs on at another machine the problem disappears I've also just checked the various client machines to see the differences in them as it...

    is it delphi doing this

Hi guys, This seems to be the problem I also have. I have the .exe on the client machine and the database on the server, configured just as it should be, aliases, parodox drivers, no stray .MB files. I really don't know what to look at next. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks David
