Computer WILL NOT recognize cd witer as such, says it's a standard cd
i am working on a dell dimension xps t500 and the system will not detect the cd writer as a cd writer, windows says its a standard cd rom drive and no burning software will recognize it. i swapped ou the drive with a newer mitsumi cd writer and found the same problem. i've tried adaptec easy...- FrozenIntuition
