www.net130.com has PIX simulations. BUT before you go there it is in Chinese (but not the labs) so you need to hover over the links and check in the progress bar of you browser to find the correct link. It takes about 5 minutes looking around so don't get put off as they have about 25 labs...
Hi
The situation is that we have three 4510R Switches with, among other blades, WS-X4418 18 Port Server Switching cards.
I know that on the 4418 ports 1 and 2 are the only non-blocking ports and that the others are not fabric enabled.
I need to know if it is possible to create an etherchannel...
Hi
I need to set up a vpn using Cisco PIX. The requirement is to tunnel in via a client to the internal network and once within, tunnel to a second site via a site to site vpn. Confusing I know, but is it possible and are there any pitfalls I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance.
Hi
Has anyone done this? I want to use an ipaq to connect to routers in order to configure SDM. At present I can get to the login screen but cannot get to SDM. I suspect it is a java issue but need some pointers.
You will need a route map for the remote user to connect to the whole network. I don't know about pinging the remote user when he is connecting in via the vpc client. That is a site-to-site VPN setup, not remote access.
Hi
They all come along together
Has anyone tried forwarding a range of ports with 1 command? I am thinking along the lines of:
static (inside, outside) tcp 192.168.0.1 1024 - 64000 192.168.0.100 1024 - 64000
Possible, madness, yes or no?I do not have the machine here to test this command...
Hi
Has anyone seen the following
IPSEC(ipsec_encap): crypto map check deny
Is it an error? I have a vpn tunnel that will not come up and need to now if this is the problem.
Hello
Has anybody networked Cisco Call Manager Express to an Avaya S8300?
If so do you know where I can find some documentation/tips/hints etc? I am close to getting it working but not quite there.
Any help/advice/suggestions more than welcome (including whether this is the right forum
Try www.net130.com and float over the links at the top till the link on the status bar has the word attestation in it. This site changes a lot and so you may find a link in English to CCSP labs or something like it. This is probably the site you mean as it is chocker with simulations. God knows...

Hi chicocouk
Thanks for that, thanks everyone for that matter.
Just one more question. If I use access-lists to allow traffic between the two pools of addresses, where would I apply my access-list?
In return you can ask me any question about the CCSP exams and i'll help. I finished it last...
Hi chicagotechnet
It keep coming back to wins. I have been told by someone at Cisco that this may be the issue, but why would I not be able to ping by IP address? Surely there are small companys that don't use wins servers?
The comment I got from Cisco was that the chap there didn't have this...
