I am getting the same problem, except I am using ADODB. Basically I get an error that the provider is not installed when attempting to login to my application, which uses a MS Access backend.

I am running a Local VB.NET application, it uses the FSO.CopyFile method to obviously copy a file. The application has not created this file, but merely edits it and copies around to different locations. Now, if I copy the file to the same dir, but with a different name, no problems...
Finally found out what I needed. Apparently in VB.NET setting an object to Nothing does not immediately get rid of it, it has to wait until the Garbage Collector (GC) is run to finally rid the object, but the GC can run at anytime, including minutes from when your object was set to Nothing...
