Hi I know a fair amount about C++, but a few definitions bother me. When ever I look at code examples I notice the words malloc and vector appear alot. Are these standards used in C and have been carried over.
malloc stands for memory allocation why not use the key word new.

It sounds like you might have a property messed up somewhere
I can think of nothing except check the properties over maybe their is a default selected which shouldn't be.

I think what you need to do is break it down into smaller steps
for instance this second query you can combine
-----------------------------------------------
select max(step_machine) from ecu_prod_detail where pcb_serial_number = 9001045165
