I do not do much in Access and find it cumbersome at times. I have a query and all I want to do is change a field called "LastName" to propercase. In the expressions builder on the query I have typed in: Expr 1: StrConv(LastName, vbProperCase) ... but just get error messages!! Please help...

Microsoft Word has a function to change the case of a field to capitalize the first letter of the word ... for example: JONES to Jones. Is there any thing in ACCESS that will do that function? I can only find upper case or lower case functions.

I am trying to convert my data to 5.1A and am having problems with the AR module. I keep getting a message that the AROBL table cannot be converted. I've done a data integrity check before the conversion and it all checks out fine.
