    Apparently we dont have a current problem, its due to a previous power supply problem that is fixed, we just need to reset this in smitty somehow???

    Mark, I ran the diag Daignostics and Advanced Diagnostics tests and it didnt find any problems. Better get an engineer out then I suppose... Cheers Steve

    Should user's .profile be run on login to CDE?

    When I login to an AIX 5 machine locally which is running CDE it never seems to run .profile. When I open a command shell I have to specifically login or su - username. Is this how it is supposed to work or have we configured something incorrectly?

    What version of Netscape for AIX5

    Can anyone offer any advice on what version of Netscape Navigator I should use on AIX 5? The Netscape site doesn't seem to mention 5 but suggests Netscape Communicator 4.92 as the version to use with AIX 4. TIA Steve
