Hello All,
I've recently been working on a simple image viewer that will allow viewing of several file types (BMP,JPG,TIF, for starters). I'm using the IMGEDIT.OCX control in VB6. The problem I've run into is that this control won't recognize some files, particularly JPG files pulled directly...
How 'bout posting a SendKey, like {"Tab"} to force the focus to shift to the next tab indexed item? You could put this either where you accept the combo box input or in a key event. Just a thought...
An example I used [not with a combo, though :-( ]

Most hard drive mfgs. Have utilities posted on their sites to diagnose drive problems like the ones that have been noted here. Many also have an automated RMA system that will allow you to return a drive that is still under warranty. I had a recent...

I would start by checking the Quantum web site [think they are actually owned by one of the other major drive mfgs. now]. Most drives supply 3rd party software to help with the installation process which may include a drive manager to help your system to recognize the new hardware. Good luck!
I've been looking for a good chess application for my 3635 iPAQ hand-held. I'm currently running the latest Windows O/S for this unit. Doesn't seem to be much available in retail and the on-line stuff is hard to evauate and/or find! Looking for any input from those who have used/tried any...
I'm a software engineer who also handles a number of PC
hardware issues for our customers. We've supplied a number of units over time that were 486 based PCs. We are now trying to estimate how many of these older units may require replacement in the near future due to failure. Is there any...
