I am writing a script to concatenate all the files with a particular extension into one. I tried something like this:
objfso.copyfile "m:\*.erg", "m:\big.txt",true
but it gives a "path not found" error
Copying the files as a group without concatenation works:
objfso.copyfile "m:\*.erg"...
There is a utility called WohHasIt.exe which will tell you who has any file open and allow you to send them messages. I believe it is shareware and works only on Novell LANs. Your NW admin probably already has it.
What is the best way to call an oracle stored procedure from Access 97? I need to update an existing Oracle 9i table with data passed from VBA. Security wont let me attach the table. They will allow me to call a stored procedure to update the record.
FoxPro allows a maximum character variable size of 64K. If you are reading your memo field into a variable and then adding to it you will get the "Disk Full" error if the result exceeds 64K.
We found the problem. A new Norton Anti Virus was installed the day the problem started. Our NW admin disabled NAV for the directory where the Dbfs are and the problem went away.
