I am trialling Solar winds engineers version network analysis software but it keeps asking for community string. Where can I find what the string is. I've installed the software on a w2k client. I've tried the router and firewall passwords.
A company has set up a couple of servers for our charity. Do we have the intellectual property rights to the procedure they went through to set them up given that we paid for them to "install and configure" the servers. I'm thinking this would be very useful as part of a disaster...

I am trying to add contacts to a distribution list in outlook xp. I click "select members". I select "contacts" from "show names from the" but no contacts are listed - the distribution lists are there but not the contacts

I have installed Sophos Mailmonitor for SMTP on our server running backoffice small business server 4.5 (NT) and I would like to know how to configure exchange 5.5 so that all emails go through the mail monitor scanner before going to the SMTP server.

I need to send emails which must be read if clients machines are switched on .
If the clients haven't got outlook running can they be notified if they have received mail. (clients = off 97 and off 2000) (w95,98,2k)

I seem to remember seeing 2M floppy disks but I haven't found one yet and I'm not sure if you can boot off it.
Otherwise I need to know a way of reducing the software data - I'm using backoffice small business server...
