    LAN internet access thru modem...

    If your PC's are already in a microsoft network, the only requirement is the PC that hosts the modem must be W98SE.  Then there is an article in the MSKB how to share it (sorry, can't remember the number).  I've used this for small config's up to 4 PC's, worked OK.
