    As far as I know it wil not be possible because the big difference between win98 US and win98 Russian is only the language. The underlying programming is exactly the same.     x on mapped drives on when user logs on

    Another note on this, according to some posting on google discussion groups is that it is cause by W2K in combination with the NEtwork card settings. This will only cause a problem if the Wake-On-LAN setting is set on the NIC. I disabled it and so far I haven't seen any red crosses on them.
