It's me again!
Please don't bother to answer my last question. I GOT IT!. Because report is designed including all fields from crosstab query, it only works if every field contains data. Otherwise, obviously Microsoft Database engine doesn't find the name of the field when it tries to fit onto...
kjv1611,
Thank you so so much for advice!
Actually I was considering some of those ideas but not the last one which is the most interesting to me and sure I'm going to try it.
But let me say something pretty weird is happening now. I already was able to design this report. It was on design...
(First of all, sorry because my English)
Here's my problem:
I have a crosstab query working fine. It asks for a range of dates entered in a form. But I'm not able to generate a report. Using wizard report or design mode report generator once I select my crosstab query on the list, there's no...
Many thanks Bob!
I did corrections and subform is working now !!!....
Actually I commited this big mistake: I reused another Access database project where I was working but goals were so different to this one because I don't need to control an item table.
Best Regards.
VIANEY
Thank you so much for advice!.
I'm checking subform query and I'm finding something wrong about it: Invoice Detail table is linked to Items table but it isn't necessary. So I'm going to redefine everything on it and follow your instructions.
VIANEY
I don't know what could be happening. I have a main form with a detail subform to handle an invoice. Randomly when I add a record to subform it places on top or in the middle of the rest of records but this phenomenon doesn't happen in all records of subform that belongs to another main form...
Steven:
Many thanks for your Delphi advice. I'm taking a look about it, reading tutorials. All links all of you suggested to me are very interesting. I think I'm going to make a great decission between Delphi, Visual Fox, VB and Oracle. It's a hard decission but I just want to feel comfortable...
Yes, I think Zarco Gajic is a wonderful teacher. I was close to congratulate him... (but I'm short about my English).
I simply couldn't stop to read his tutorial. So pretty clear.

Many thanks, Leslie. I'll take a look about learning Delphi too. By the way, before I started this thread I found an interesting Delphi tutorial for begginers like me in http://delphi.about.com by Zarco Gajic and I liked it very much.
Well, thanks again and of course all of your opinions were...
Many thanks to you for your advice!
Your point of view about Fox and Visual Basic is very helpful to me. Now I think I'm going to make a good decision. I'm going to study both of them and I'll be patient this time.
And you are right!, this site is great about getting programming skills and...
Thank you so much everybody! [bigsmile]
You were so helpful to me. Now I can understand what does SQL mean. SQL concept is pretty clear now.
So what database programming language do you suggest or recommend me to work with?...
I know choosing an appropiate database programming language...
A long time ago I was working in FoxProLan. In that time it seems to me like databases programming languages were in constant improvement; so I was sure I could get all advantages and work was easier and easier for programmers. I felt I was in absolute control of language but today I feel is...
First of all: sorry because my English)
Last year I found here an interesting way to use CR controls from Access 2000 but I can't find that thread.
I'm working with CR 8.5 and Access 2000. I'm a newbie in CR. I'm designing a form in Access 2000 and there are two CR controls: CR control and CR...
I can't believe how disappointed I am because I was working on an Inventory Access 2000 Project and I can't go on. I'm so pessimist and I think my hard effort is lost. [sad][sad][sad]... This is my problem: preprinted forms. I'm trying to print an invoice on a preprinted form but I can't take...
Jim:
WOWWW!!! [bigsmile][bigsmile][bigsmile]

Thank you so much for everything!. You're so kind. Now I have a new question: I've tried using your suggestion but I have noticed that plus signus only shows when I 'click' over the field. If I move to another record it disappears. I would like + signus to be displayed all the time...
First of all sorry for my English.
I can't find an input mask to show plus sign or minus sign on a numeric field. I've tried several masks like this:
+##.##;-##.## but they don't work. These in particular works very well formating cells in Excel but they don't in Access. I can't believe there...
