Yes, it is the e-business suite. I pulled the following out of the About screen:
RDBMS : 9.2.0.5.0
Oracle Applications : 11.5.9
I can't really get more specific about the app. All I know is when I log in, I get a list of responsibilities. I am choosing the application developer one (the same...
The application is Oracle 11i. I am actually creating a value set to be used to populate a parameter in a concurrent program. When you log into the app, the path is: application developer (provided you have been assigned that responsibility by the sysadmin) -> application -> validation -> set.
turns out that I can only select tables and not views if I choose the table validation type. the list of validation types are independent, dependent, special, table, none, pair, translatable independent, and translatable dependent. I did try special and chose query as the event and typed in the...
this is within the application, where I am trying to setup the value set; it does not allow me to specify code; I simply pick the table and the column. I can't write any code except for the where or order_by statement.
I am trying to create a value set in Oracle11i.
I am creating an LOV for the value set from a table. For example, the LOV will be populated by:
select batch_name from pa_transaction_interface_all;
When I go to concurrent programs and try to select a value for the parameter, I get every...
But ALL items on the order have to be voided for the record to fulfill the report req.
So, if an order has 7 items, then SUM has to be 7. A sum of 1-6, while greater than 0, means that not all items have been voided.
I thought about doing a group, counting the number of rows for that order and...
Siggy,
Actually, the void column defaults to 0 and changes to 1 if the item is voided. So, your idea of summing up the rows for each order to see if they are greater than 0 won't work. I liked your idea of grouping, though, and I'm seeing if I can take a similar route.
Thanks.
Is there such a thing as a cursor in Crystal? My CR 8.5 reference manual does not make any mention of cursors. It briefly goes over loops, but I am not finding that helpful in my case.
The report I'm working on needs to select all orders older than 30 days that either have no items or have all...
I am creating a report in which a parameter will pass a Yes or No value. However, that is not the value in the table. The value to be analyzed is a date. For example, if the parameter Value is Y, then I need to retrieve all records with a Date greater than or equal to the SYSDATE. Somehow this...
