For those stuck with Exchange 5.5, are there any scripting guru's out there that can write a script that can be used with WinAT to schedule switching the TZ from default to GMT and back as needed based on DST dates? Seems like this might be a workaround of sorts.
If anyone sets up a 5.5 to...
Has anyone tried the GMT approach?
Is there a timezone setting within Exch 5.5?
Or is it simply based on the OS timezone setting?
Has anyone used the Exchange Tool on 5.5? (even though MS is has removed all mention of it on the KB article)
Has anyone tried using the VPC image to do the...
Couple of quick questions mdmumbai.
Why are you moving the clocks manually? The timezone patch does work for NT4. I have tried in on an NT server box by applying it and setting the clock to Mar-11 1:55am and watched it change to 3am five minutes later. That seems to be a good fix.
Are you...
Wasn't the purpose of the Outlook and Exchange timezone tools to take care of adjusting existing appointments that fall in the 3 week time periods that are off?
I that is the case it sounds like we may have something of the pieces to form a solution. Now are there any other pieces in Exch...

I also tried shutting off all Groupshield services as well as IMS and MTA and then restarting them but it is still not recreated when they are restarted.
I am wondering if even reinstalling will do the trick.
Or maybe uninstall/reinstall?
I have an Exchange 5.5 server running Groupshield 4.04 and the Quarantine Folder was accidentally moved while trying to move the contents. It was moved back but now quarantined messages no longer get moved here. In fact I don't know what happens to them now when they are quarantined. Anyone...
