It has been suggest to me (by someone who claims to know these things) that the best approach is to have a script which renames the backed-up data file before it is saved by NetBackup, in this way the file name will always be the same. My (Windows) client generates its own backup regularly. It creates a new directory whose name is based on the backup date and then dumps the backedup data into it. I want the NetBackup agent to backup this new directory without the operator continually having to modify the filename. I'm still...- smiff
