Correct me if I am wrong but forwarding as attachment, yes, keeps the headers in the attachment but the destination (after the mbox) is spamassassin through the sa-learn module which doesn't look at attachments, only headers and message content.
I have never written a macro for Outlook, and am confused about where to start.
I have a very simple requirement: I would like to have a button (or script) which will 'Resend' all selected items to a specific e-mail address without having to do anything other than click that button.
Seems like...
Another piece of software, or method:
1) xWall by DataEnter (www.dataenter.co.at) uses the baysian spam filtering technique like spam assassin - i've found that it works fairly well.
2) Set up a Mail Gateway using OpenBSD w. SpamD and SpamAssassin. Not necessarily a gateway but it sits...
On our Terminal server we have accountants and procurment people. These 'users' (i hate that word) always seem to want to run their invoices at the same times of the month.
The database is in Access so it's pittiful to begin with.
My problem is that when both of them run it, one takes ~100% of...
I added a Compat 7131 NIC (1000-T) and teamed it with the Internal 100-TX adapter. I'm using all of Compaq's latest drivers, teaming software and this is connected to a SuperStack 3300.
1) Does something need to be done on the switch side? Does port trunking need to be enabled for this to work...
To understand correctly, eManager for 5.5 does not have server wide customizable rules, only client customizable rules?
I'm still leaning towards a BSD box with SA .. hah.
does anyone know of any good anti-spam software for Exchange 5.5? I would LOVE something spamassassin based, but I will settle with something else. Who is the industry leader in this technology? I will be testing the Trend Solution over the course of the week but any suggestions would be greatly...
User and Golf are both 4 letter words. Can you think of more?
Yea, I manage the IT Department for an engineering firm with about 120mail boxes. I have enforced limits many times but yet users whine, and complain that their mailboxes can't hold enough information. Our average mailbox size is...
On one hand we have Exchange full of holes, problems and limitations. On the other, we have PostFix or SendMail which is not. Even something LDAP/IMAP Capable. Geez. To add to a hilt of problems; there isn't even a 'lite' 2000/2003 edition.
snmplan: With Exchange 2000 Exchange would like about...
Yep. Exchange is messed. I wanna use PostFix but my peons, users, whatever you wanna call them really like the exchange conenctivity. ARGH.
Anywho. Yea. root dministrator never had any issues - yet I do. I have the same permssions as the root admin and still I am not capable of performing...
Go to the Internet Mail Connector; and play with the logging options there.
Circular logging is good and bad at the same time. Good because it overwrites itself. Bad, that with Circular Logging you won't be able to rebuild in case of disaster.
You may want to play around with diagnostic...
Yeppers, You are limted to exactly 16GB (16,777,216 kb). Sux eh? The only way to bypass this is with the Enterpise level of exchange where you can have multiple sites; each at 16gb.
cheers

only the Enterprise levels have an "unlimited" mailbox size. 5.5/2000 both have limits of 16,777,216bytes. I was faced with it crapping out on me just last month.
On another note I think that this should be info for all exchange admins, When your PRIV.EDB file reaches 16777216 or...
Hello all, I have a small question. I am looking for a method (utility, or alike) that will create, via command line, a mailbox on an exchange 5.5 server. I made a batch file that takes in a users first/last name and creates everything based on that. It creates the account just fine and alike...
