George, Although this defeats the purpose of using encrypted passwords, it might allow you to use the SMB share from Windows. Some SMB servers' requests for encrypted passwords FAIL when asking Windows for the pwd... I guess they forgot to day "please"! [LOL] You can always remove...- HIRC
