=Date() function not working on some computers
In the first version of Access 2000 the Date() function will return the current date. In Access 2000 SR1 you have to use the Now() function to do this. I have had problems with some PCs on my network treating date calculations differently to others, because some had SR1 and other hadn't.- eoinmadden

Data truncation in memo field at random intervals
Hi, Occasionally, my memo field will be truncated to 255 characters. I access the memo field through a form. I can have 400 characters, for example, in there today… tomorrow they are still there, but 5 days from now there is only 255. Why is this? What triggers it? I do not open the field in...- eoinmadden
