I have an Impromptu report which is 600 pages long and when I use impromptu and save as a pdf the pdf size is appox. 14 MB, if I print to the Adobe Pdf (v6) print driver, I get the same 600 pages but the size is appox. 4 MB. I think I have both set to not embed fonts.

I have a report in which the main report just calculates dates (today, yesterday,endof Last month)using functions. This report is hidden, but passes it's dates to the sub report which then uses them to filter...
Can anyone suggest methods of protecting a database password, which changes monthly, when using a macro to run an impromptu report? Know of the mcx vs. mac being readable but have many macros which would have to be updated and compiled monthly? Thanks.
