Haven't tried this out, but there are some registry keys that look like they have to do something with caching.
They can be found in and the APSDocumentManager subkey.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Crystal Decisions\9.0\Report App\Server\...

we figured it out, somehow.
It seems to be a problem with our standard workstation setup.
I installed a fresh and new NT Server without any extras (like MS Office or the Novell Client) and it worked out of the box.
If ind out the component wich causes the trouble I will post it...

Can I somehow change the Databse a report tries to login.
I would like to use unmanaged reports and would like to change the DB during runtime because of performance issues.

I'd like to use unmanaged reports in my intranet and everything works fine so far, except that i always have to submit the login information for subreports (user0@subrep1 ...) .
Has anyone an idea how to pass a 'global' logon via the URL, or how to get the names of the subreports out of the rpt...

as far as I know, the rpt has to be in a directory on the NT Server with CE.
This directory has to be mapped to a Virtual Path on the Webserver in the asapi.conf File:
Alias /report /usr/local/crystal/report
