    Home LAN advice

    I would get a linksys router and run a patch cable from it to the router/modem. Then hook a pc to the linksys router with a patch cable. Configure the router using the pc. Then have airport cards in the macs and configure using DHCP. Make sure the firewall software is enabled on the linksys router.

    Mac OS 10.2 and Win2000 Server - HELP!!!!

    I have a G4 OS 10.2 server and have a problem authenticating to Win2000 server. I can access the internet, I can see our Win2000 servers but cannot access them. The network admin says he has granted all the rights and privileges necessary. I stumped!!

    I need urgent help about my harddrive!!!

    If you have another hard drive to use as the primary drive, boot from it. Have the drive in question as the second or slave drive. Once your up, you can save out any data that you need (most of the time) and then start over with the drive in question as the primary and repartition it, etc.

    Is there a patch to use USB ports?

    If an Iomega Zip drive is your goal then yes to the USB ports. Iomega has a driver at there site that can be downloaded and installed for USB support BUT if you do this no other USB device can be used with the above driver. I was hoping Palm would have a driver for NT 4.0 but they don't at this...
