Dialling in to server causes RAS to crash and reboot required. Outgoing service works fine before dialin. Hardware is an Eicon Server BRI 2M PCI on MS Back Office SBS 4.5 Have uninstalled, reinstalled Eicon Drivers and RAS Services too many times to mention
I think I have it all wrong - I suspect the mail is arriving but not being forwarded due to a blockage caused by BAD mail, have had error 4117 on reboot, will have to do the DOS thing with various Exchange Tools. Will keep you posted in a day or two...........

Yes, the other server has a similar configuration - I just added the account in the 'Connector for Pop3' under Exchange connections to qualify there was no apparent problem with the ISP.
