I've got performance issues usng RAS in WIN2K.
The client laptop dialing is running WIN2K and is dialing in using an analogue line. When the profile loads, performance on the laptop grinds to a halt.
The laptop uses a simple batch script to map several network drives but other than that...
I'm finding dailup access to a WIN2K server using RAS very slow. Scripts take about 15 minutes to run and the laptop seems to freeze.
The laptop is running WIN2K Professional and has ben set up properly. The server's modem is connected to an analogue line on a BT Meridient switch. Any thoughts?
