we are having a problem when users log in their home drive is not viewable from windows explorer howere a file open in any program shows the drive and it is accessable

you want to put your webpages in the default folder for beginners it will make it easier on ya
c: then inetpub then wwwroot
all your pages you make put in wwwroot
name your index default.htm
then type in http://127.0.0.1 to see it
i would say you need 2 servers that will provide for a good "backup domain controller configuration"
just use one as your "pdc" and run user files and your SUS your webpage and all that jazz
and for the second server put exchange on it
that way you can reboot one without...
when trying to open an attached excel file i get an error "ERROR OPENING FILE" the user can open word attaced files just fine only gets the error when opening excel.
but if the file is saved to the desktop the user can open it just fine

it was the IIS lockdown tool that was preventing it ffrom running
i reinstalled IIS lockdown tool and declared my server and exchange box
and viola it worked
when i access it and click on my inbox i just get a message saying loading
it never errors out just hangs up on loading
i can send mail through it ok but i cannot veiw anything in my inbox
