    Descriptive Merge Procedure Wanted

    Is there a procedure for the Merge of files prior to a backup? The current procedure here is to Merge the target files to temp directory, then run the Backup procedure to copy the files from the temp directory. I will appreciate any info that can be provided on the merge feature.
