ProComm errors on Win 2000 when open a telnet session

Knob I just looked on Symantec website and did not see any posts about the problem. The issue out there that I was speaking of was from Dan Glotzbach and it was posted on March 27. Maybe you could check it out it has a Dr. Watson error log as well. How can I find out what questions you posted...

ProComm errors on Win 2000 when open a telnet session

I have found the more you change telnet sessions within the same window the faster the problem replicates itself. Sometimes it will happen on the first connection / session but most of the time it is when you close one connection / session and open another within the same window. Also I have...

Knob, Thanks, but yeah I am definitely on Version 4.8. I am using an imported old connection directory on my correct machine, but I have tried with a clean new directory on freshly installed machines and the same problems still occour. I was not able to reproduce the problem when I manually...

ProComm errors on Win 2000 when open a telnet session

All, I know this a forum for aspect, but I was hoping someone else has had this error and resolved it. Since we have upgraded to W2K ProComm crashes randomly when opening a telnet session. I am using v4.8 of ProComm Plus and have tried installing this on many different machines with the same...

I am trying to assign a name to a captured file

Here is a very simple way to use the current date for a file name. I use this to name a capture file from an automatic session that runs daily. You can then use this name for the capture file command. If you run this it will show you the file name that will me created in the message box. You...
