Hi jm/eugene
Weird I brought in the same eps today and surprise, surprise there was no white background. Not sure what occurred subsequently but the eps definitely came in with a white background.
I've seen quite a few other posts referring to the same problem so I thought InDesign had...
Hummm.... well it's a bit confusing. I haven't found too many downsides to InDesign as yet but I don't think it handles eps files as well as Quark (or should I say as simply as Quark)
I mean as default InDesign is in 'normal mode'. right? If I have to keep clicking on this 'preview mode' to get...
Yeah, thanks for the information 'jmgalvin'
I don't mind the activation procedure, its got to be in place, although as you say it is sometimes a PITA.

I've been trying out InDesign for a few days now and like it, fortunately. (well actually I was forced into buying it as one of my clients requested all work from now on be submitted in InDesign) So I decided to purchase it along with Photoshop and Illustrator in the Design Standard...
This has probably been covered before but does andyone have an opinion/s
Ive been told by the 'experts' to stay away from Layout Mode as they say this creates bad coding?
Since migrating to DW4 I have found the feature very useful in helping design a page. Previous to this I have been working...
