    /system/library/systemconfiguration/kicker.bundle/contents/resources/set-hostname fixed the problem. I just added the /sbin/route line to the next to end and all is well. Thank you very much!

    I want to add a route add -net statement to a startup script. Where would I put it? I tried to find the rc.net and rc.tcpip. This version of bsd does not have either. I put it in the rc file and it does not seem to run. Any ideas?

    I am importing .log files into excel and getting the recipient name column to show up on next line. Technet says something about a new line character being put in previous column. How do I get around that for reporting purposes? The import of excel and access do not allow for inline manipulation.

    If you go into a program like word, you can click on the backwards P, you will then see where the ascii paragraph marker directs the app to begin a new paragraph.
